ASK Restaurant Group is a restaurant management firm in Florida, USA

The client requested the use of the color red and wanted to stay away from cliche restaurant imagery such as stemware or silverware.

The priority for us was to communicate an organization that consisted of several different elements. The initials for the acronym therefore received their own background. Once we started developing the design, we realized that a good way to communicate a unified group made from the different parts was to use a transparent overlap. Treating the mark with this overlap also allowed us to use two shades of gray, creating other shades with the overlap and a pop of red for the center element.
